Ocado, is one of the world’s largest dedicated online grocery retailers with over 500,000 active customers shopping with it today. It was established in the UK over 15 years ago and listed on the London Stock Exchange in July 2010. Ocado’s innovative proprietary technology is central to delivering Ocado’s services both for its own grocery business and for other online retailers. But the company recognised that the digitisation of its back-office financial processes needed to match its disruptive customer-facing technology if it was to sustain a competitive advantage over the long term.
